Mill Ridge Middle School
The City of Danbury is completely renovating this existing 50,000 sqft elementary school that closed at the end of the 2012/2013 school year. This 1.4 million dollar project consists of the installation of all new electrical upgrades including new electrical services to the building, new State of the Art LED Site Lighting, new State of the Art Life Safety Management Systems, People Management Security Systems that include Video Door Entry Systems, Closed Circuit TV Systems, Addressable Intrusion Alarms and Access Control of the building. The city is also installing new Telecommunication Systems to accommodate the use of White Boards in all the class rooms while providing high speed internet and WIFI accessibility throughout the School, Gymnasium and Media Center. In addition, the school will receive new State of the Art Sound Systems. Transforming this 50 year old school into a 21st Century Middle School for High Level Learning.
