AM Rizzo Installs Nostalgic Holiday Lights

AM Rizzo Electrical Contractors brought 1950s-style holiday lights to downtown Danbury this year with white street lights 17-feet tall that span Main Street.
“I couldn’t be happier,” said PJ Prunty, executive director of CityCenter Danbury, the downtown promotion and entertainment district. “Everybody worked together, Rizzo, Public Works, the property owners, the Mayor’s office.”
Prunty said he wanted a nostalgic feel to the downtown lighting ceremony and holiday lights, and he said the older-style lights accomplished that.
“Bob White, service manager for Rizzo, was here early in the morning. He was here late at night. He was here whenever I wanted to meet him,” Prunty said. “Everyone wanted to see it done. It was keeping me up at night. They did a fantastic job, very professional.”
Prunty also complimented Marin Curakovic, lead service technician on the job.
