A.M. Rizzo Finalizing Signage on Route 8 Corridor

As featured in the Republican American paper, June 21st edition, A.M. Rizzo is finalizing a $2.25 million project on the Route 8 corridor between Thomaston and Winstead. Roughtly 1,500 brand new overhead and side-mounted signs are installed across a 21 mile segment. The new signs are upgraded to new breakaway standards so that in the event of a crash, the post will shear off reducing chance of injuries. Closures will continue until completion, currently scheduled for July.
