“On behalf of The Barden Corporation, I would like to personally thank Rizzo Electric, and specifically your employee Bob White, for the assistance in rectifying the above referenced disruption. After our staff diagnosed the problem as blown 15,000 volt fuse, holder and baffle, Bob was instrumental in working two parallel paths to locate these non-stock replacements parts. Through established Rizzo supply chain vendors, Bob found the needed parts, made arrangements at vendors for ordering processing and worked with Barden management to coordinate transportation.
During the inevitable periods of waiting to hear back from vendors, Bob also took the initiative to work with our staff to further check other high voltage switchgear as a precaution, thusly minimizing the risk of a recurrence when the new fuse was installed.
Bob also used his personal and Rizzo Electric’s relationship with Connecticut Light & Power to expedite the closing of the main electrical switches at the street. During the repair process, I was personally involved for a period of time with Bob, and he gave me the impression he cared about getting Barden up and running like it was his own business.
